OnePay says the Walmart rate applies to groceries, gas, prescriptions, dining and more, in store, on Walmart.com and at Walmart Fuel Stations. The 1.5% rate does not include Walmart purchases, which already earn 3% or 5%.

How do OnePay Points work?

Cash back is earned as OnePay Points. OnePay says you can redeem points for cash back into a OnePay deposit account, as a statement credit on your card, or toward crypto or stocks through OnePay. You must bank through OnePay to redeem points for cash back, but card holders can earn points without banking there. OnePay also runs limited-time Boosts in its app for extra points.

Does the card have an annual fee?

If you do not pre-qualify for the CashRewards Card, OnePay says you will be considered for the Walmart Spend Card, which has no standard cash back program.

Is Walmart+ worth it for the 5% rate?
